We have a long weekend of playing softball this weekend. Looking to rip up the league and come home with another trophy.
We have been very successful in the past few years.
have 4 games left in the Wednesday night league and then that tournament. Although Big Daddy Softball is not as big as we once were.
Plenty of video to come from the tournaments, unless I can extort some money from someone withthe videos.

We lost to the #1 team in both the leagues I play in, 2 nights in a row. I guess if you are going to lose, it should be to a team that is better than you are. I’m not saying I like or accept losing, but if I have to lose, I’d rather it be to a team that is better.
Last weekend’s party was awesome, such a late post, because the recovery/clean up process just took too long. Well that and I play softball and game too much. Damn, where do I find the time to work 2 jobs??? I just dunno. Oh, I forgot, I gotta find time for my wife too. Geez, can a guy catch a break?

Big Daddy Softball is on a roll. we’ve won 5 of 6 and have 4 wins in a row. With this current streak we doubled our wins for the season. Guess that’s what getting off to a bad start will do.

But the team is playing awesome defense and we’re smacking the sh!t outta the ball on offensive.  I also noticed, i’m the #1 result for Big Daddy Softball on google. Yipppeeee! Well we only have a about 5 weeks of ball left to play, it’s amazing how fast it goes by, especially with all the working I’ve been doing. Hoping to help sponsor the team next year, that’d be awesome.

Tonight we have the renegades for my coed league, we’re doing pretty well in that league. #3 in the standings. Not too bad, considering we had to play 3 games with only 9 fielders. Heck, one game was 5 -2…in slow pitch softball.

This is the fun stuff, in my otherwise extremely busy summer. Just wish sometimes that there was more time in the day, but realise if there was, i’d be working more.

Iron Pigs kicked butt. Great fielding (especially to end the game, WOW what a catch).
back to the groove of things tonight with softball, team is on a roll and getting hot!

The first full week of softball (3 days) is over. We went 1-2 and will finish the last game at a date to be determined (we were winning 13-12).  I can’t complain, I was 3 for 7, with 6 rbi and 2 sac flys. I do have to stop driving the ball, there are no fences on most fields we play on, so the defenders just back up when I come to bat. Line-drives up the middle, back at the pitcher, through the box.

The good thing is I feel great, I’ve started to run on the side. Hoping to make it through the whole season without getting hurt/injuried. As the years pass, it is getting more difficult to keep up with the guys that are 22, 23. But I’ll push them harder then most people do, I like to show up the younger guys.

Work is going awesome, Viddler is a great company. Earlier this week, one of our cats got out and I went home to help my wife look for our ‘lil buddy. I was home for about 2.5 hours when we found the lil guy.  But the company, really is great, they let me make up the hours and were very supportive in letting me have the time to take care of personal issues. This is the picture perfect situation of how companies can have corporate responsibility aimed at helping and promoting employee wellness.
